Introduction
The Prevention of Malpractices Code is an important policy of the Youth Talent Cricket League (YTCL). This code has been introduced to ensure fair play, transparency, honesty, and ethical conduct across all YTCL matches and events.
The Managing Committee of YTCL has implemented this code to protect the integrity of cricket and to create a clean, fair, and disciplined environment for players, officials, and all participants.
Compliance with Indian Laws
The Prevention of Malpractices Code works alongside existing Indian laws and regulations. If any action violates Indian law, participants will be responsible for complying with the legal requirements in addition to YTCL rules.
Conduct of Participants
All participants associated with YTCL, including players, team officials, coaches, and support staff, must strictly follow the Prevention of Malpractices Code.
- Participants must understand and comply with all rules mentioned in this code.
- By registering with YTCL, participants give consent for the collection and use of information related to league activities.
- All participants agree to follow the decisions and authority of the Managing Committee and Disciplinary Committee.
- During the league period, no participant shall behave in a manner that goes against the spirit of cricket, whether on or off the field.
- The decisions taken by the Managing Committee and Disciplinary Committee shall be final and binding.
Offences Under the Prevention of Malpractices Code
Any of the following actions will be treated as a violation of this code:
False Information
Providing false or misleading information during player registration.
Influence
Trying to influence match results, player selection, or league processes.
Information Misuse
Misuse or sharing of confidential or inside information.
Rule Violations
Failure to follow YTCL rules, policies, or Code of Conduct.
Reputational Damage
Any activity that damages the reputation, fairness, or integrity of YTCL.
Such actions may occur on or off the field and will be taken seriously.
Sanctions & Disciplinary Action
If an offence is confirmed:
- The Managing Committee or Disciplinary Committee will decide punishment based on the seriousness of the violation.
- Penalties may include warning, suspension, or cancellation of registration, or permanent disqualification from YTCL.
- The right to participate may be terminated immediately in such cases.
All disciplinary decisions are final and cannot be challenged.
Amendments & Interpretation
- • YTCL reserves the right to modify or update this Code from time to time.
- • Any changes will be effective from the date announced by the League.
- • Section headings are for reference only and do not affect the meaning.
- • If any part of this code is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply fully.
