Scope and Application
Rapid Sports and Events Private Limited is responsible for the planning, operation, and management of the Youth Talent Cricket League (YTCL). This Missing Children Policy forms an integral part of YTCL's commitment to ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all young players during matches, selection camps, and league activities.
The objective of this policy is to establish clear procedures to prevent, identify, and respond promptly in the unlikely event that a child goes missing within or around YTCL premises.
Responsibilities of Officials and Staff
All YTCL officials, coaches, volunteers, and staff members are required to strictly follow this policy.
Staff responsibilities include:
Regularly counting players in their group to ensure all children are present
Ensuring that no child leaves the group or venue without prior permission from the coach or authorized official
Encouraging children to immediately inform officials if any teammate is missing
Remaining attentive and not losing track of players during training or match activities
Avoiding long idle periods for children, as unattended players may wander away unintentionally
Procedure in Case a Child Is Missing
The following steps must be taken immediately:
Verify Information
Asking teammates and officials about the child’s last known location
Inform Seniority
Inform YTCL senior officials to initiate an organized search
Lockdown Points
Secure and monitor all entry and exit points of the venue
Thorough Search
Conduct a thorough search of the playing area and nearby surroundings
Local Authorities
If the child is not found, inform the parent/guardian and lodge a complaint with local authorities after consultation
Suspicious Activity
Report immediately if any unknown or suspicious individual is noticed near the premises
Safety Standards at YTCL Events
During all YTCL tournaments, trials, and selection camps, Rapid Sports and Events Private Limited ensures:
- Availability of paramedics or doctors
- Presence of trained security personnel
- Supervision by certified coaches and officials
- Use of safe sports equipment and protective kits
- Compliance with all child safety and security guidelines
Amendments and Interpretation
• This Missing Children Policy may be updated or modified by Rapid Sports and Events Private Limited from time to time
• Headings are provided only for easy understanding and do not affect policy interpretation
• If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining policy shall continue to remain in force
Contact and Communication
In the event of a missing child, a designated YTCL official will be responsible for managing all communication, coordinating with guardians and authorities, and ensuring that no false or misleading information is circulated that may cause panic or harm the reputation of YTCL.
