Youth Talent Cricket League (YTCL), managed by Rapid Sports and Events Pvt. Ltd., is committed to promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive cricketing environment. YTCL strongly believes that cricket is a unifying sport and racism has no place in it. This Anti-Racism Policy reflects YTCL’s dedication to fairness, equality, and mutual respect during all matches, tournaments, and events.
1. What is Racism?
In YTCL, racism refers to any action, words, gestures, or behavior that discriminates against or insults an individual or group based on race, caste, ethnicity, nationality, skin colour, language, or cultural background. Such behavior is strictly prohibited.
2. Zero-Tolerance Policy
YTCL follows a strict zero-tolerance policy against racism. Any racist conduct by players, coaches, team officials, umpires, parents, or spectators will be taken seriously and dealt with firmly.
3. Roles and Responsibilities
Players
- • Must respect teammates, opponents, officials and everyone involved in the game.
- • Racist comments, gestures, or actions are strictly not allowed.
Umpires & Match Officials
- • Officials are responsible for monitoring conduct during matches.
- • Any incident of racism must be reported immediately to YTCL authorities.
Coaches & Team Officials
- • Must educate players about respect, equality and sportsmanship.
- • Ensure that anti-racism values are followed at all times.
Spectators & Parents
- • Support the game positively and respectfully.
- • Racist behavior from the stands or sidelines will not be tolerated.
4. Reporting Racism
Any player, official, parent, or spectator who witnesses or experiences racism during a YTCL event should report the incident immediately to the designated YTCL officials. Confidential and anonymous complaints are also accepted to ensure safety and fairness.

5. Investigation & Disciplinary Action
All reported cases of racism will be thoroughly investigated by YTCL management. If found guilty, strict action may be taken, including:
- Warnings or fines
- Suspension from matches or tournaments
- Permanent ban from YTCL events

6. Education & Awareness
YTCL actively works to spread awareness about equality and respect in cricket. Regular awareness programs, workshops, and campaigns will be conducted to educate players and stakeholders about anti-racism and ethical sports behaviour.
7. Support for Victims
YTCL ensures emotional and moral support for anyone affected by racism. Necessary guidance and resources will be provided to help individuals overcome the impact of such incidents.
